Nature's Fabrics is a wonderful source for bulk fabrics and fabric by the yard. They carry great fabrics for making cloth diapers; wool, bamboo, cotton, hemp, and
PUL. Not sure about making your own diapers? Don't know where to start? Nature's Fabrics has many different diaper patterns for purchase including
fitteds and two different wool covers. There are even patterns for
onesies, pajamas, and training pants.
Nature's Fabrics wants the best for you, your baby and the environment.
PUL has come into question lately. That's why Nature's Fabrics
PUL is free from metals,
phthalates and latex. The
PUL is made in accordance with new
PUL application standards. There are
VOC's (volatile organic compounds) emitted during production. It's great to hear that fabric suppliers are caring where their products come from and how they are made!
Nature's Fabrics also sells fitted cloth diapers, wool covers, breast pads, and cloth feminine pads. They carry four different types of wool covers; a side snapping interlock, a pull on cover, side snapping interlock pants,
longies, and a snapping wool cover with cuffs. I was given the opportunity to review the fitted diaper. Read below to find out more.

The Review
Jeanne from Nature's Fabrics sent me a Covered Caboose fitted diaper to review. This is a side snapping, one size fits most bamboo fitted. Side snapping diapers are great for eliminating wing droop. There are five snap adjustments for the waist but none for the rise. There is a snap in
tri-fold insert made of three layers of bamboo. There is also a lay in booster made with two layers of bamboo. The bamboo is incredibly soft and luxurious. Elastic at the waist guarantees a proper fit. The customer service at Nature's Fabrics was very friendly. Jeanne responded incredibly quickly to my inquiries.
When I was pregnant with my second child, I worked with a lady who made cloth diapers in her home. I did assistant seamstress stuff and learned A LOT about cloth diapers. I really enjoyed the work (which is good because she paid me horribly). I, of course, got an employee discount and my daughter, Sally, had a rather large stash! It would have been nice to see her use the high quality fabrics that Nature's Fabrics carries. Especially all the organic and print fabrics they have. I feel that if she did, she would have had a much better success rate with customers.
Another great things about Nature's Fabrics is that all Covered Caboose products come with a lifetime guarantee on both snaps and elastic. All you need to do if you ever have problems is contact Nature's Fabrics and they can assist you in repairing your items.

My trim little 31lb guy.
Ease of Use: This diaper washed and dried up great. I find side snapping diapers somewhat tedious though. They just aren't as easy as front snapping diapers. It would be nice if the
tri-fold insert was longer for older boy babies for more wet zone protection.
Fit: With the insert and the booster I found the diaper bulky. Very absorbent, but bulky. I didn't have trouble fitting it in any of the covers that we have. The diaper has a very good seal around the thighs without leaving red marks.
Materials: Bamboo velour and bamboo jersey
Cost: $16.50
Overall Opinion: In my opinion, the Covered Caboose fitted diaper is best for older babies. James loved this diaper on his bum because of the softness. It held messes really well and we never had any issues with leaks.
