Amanda started her Etsy shop, Flora Gayle, earlier this year when she saw a need for an affordable alternative to wool diaper covers. She felt as though paying upwards of $30 could prohibit people from trying wool as a natural alternative to PUL covers.
"I got in to cloth diapering to try to save some money (among other things), so I couldn't justify paying $30 or $40 on one diaper cover--no matter how cute it was! Especially considering how fast babies grow."
Amanda was lucky enough to have learned to sew as a child. Lucky for us, she offers cute, functional, eco-friendly, well crafted, upcycled wool diaper covers. Not everyone can pick up a pre-loved wool sweater and turn it into a baby-couture item!
Her shop also offers fabric knotted necklaces that are great for teething babies. You can even wash them when they need a good cleaning.
