Heather started Natural Grace after trying to find a solution for her daughter, Grace. Grace was always breaking out with hive-like patches all over her body. After many failed trips to the doctor, Heather began her own research. She learned about teh dangers associated with the use of many chemicals found in most commercial and synthetic bath and body products. After using products that were natural, little Grace was cured!
"As a mom I strongly believe that we need to limit the exposure to chemicals as childrens systems are much more sensitive and prone to developing negative side effects. Even as an adult its never too late to make the switch and enjoy natural goodness.
I hope you will enjoy my products and find them to be not only great for your skin but food mind, body and soul!"
I couldn't have said it better myself. It's never too late to treat your skin well!
All the products that Heather makes are made in small batches, are non-toxic, affordable and eco-friendly. Her products contain only the best natural and organic ingredients. Natural Grace is a member of the Leaping Bunny Organization which ensures that her products are cruelty free and vegan. She is also a proud signer of the PETA Statement of Assurance.
Natural Grace's product line includes foot soaks, bottom butters, body butters, lotions, household cleaners and a skin care line.
Heather sent me a bottle of Natural Grace baby Wipes Solution Concentrate to review. I switched over to cloth wipes maybe four or five months ago. Even as an avid cloth diapering mama, I never thought to use them until a couple months ago when buying the "natural" wipes became too expensive. Cloth wipes are so much more efficient at cleaning up poo and other messes. They hold more, they "grip" better and they are so much softer on baby's bum. Not to mention that you can control the ingredients your wipes solution.
The directions for the wipes solution says to put 1-2 Tablespoons in one to one and a half cups of distilled water and store in a sterile container. I started with 1 teaspoon of solution concentrate to a little over one cup of water and poured it over about 12 wipes and kept them in a glass tupperware-like container. This wet method was different than what I had been doing with my wipes. I had been using a spray bottle of solution and just spraying a wipe when needed. I must say that I think I now prefer the wet storage method. My first thought was that there was no way that all that water could be absorbed by the wipes but they were thirsty. I found that the perfect mixture for our use is a heaping teaspoon of concentrate to a little over one cup of water then poured over about 15 wipes. The prep time was literally a minute. If you can pour yourself a glass of water, you have time to make your own wipes solution!
Overall Opinion: The solution concentrate has a very nice, light citrusy smell. It also cut down on James' redness around the thighs that he sometimes has. He has such sensitive skin. I felt that the solution concentrate kept James clean and smelling fresh. We never experienced any "soapy" feeling, just cleanness. Also, I've been using this non stop since the middle of September and the bottle is maybe one fourth gone. This is going to last forever! I highly reccommend this product for someone who is looking for a great, natural, safe alternative for their babes!
